System Integrations

COBS has been able to develop an extensive portfolio of integrations in close cooperation with resellers, partners, and customers. The COBS Messaging Server (CMS) provides system integration with advanced messaging, personal alarm and locationing functionality interactively with mobile devices (e.g. Android, iOS, DECT, Pagers and Alarm Transmitters, TETRA, etc). Typical integrations are care and Nurse Call Systems (NCS), Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems, Access Control and fire alarm systems, or just simple physical contacts – all of which benefit from the features and number of other integrations that the CMS can provide.

The COBS CMS provides many options such as simple I/O, serial interfaces as well as an open and interactive IP-based protocol with a feature set that enables any system to integrate with extensive functionality.

We believe in standardization, open protocols and interfaces which is why we provide a variaty of options to connect any third party system to our platform. The COBS platform supports, for example, system integration via XML, ESPA, I/O, Social care alarm internet protocol (SCAIP), OPC, and telephony through SIP, H.323, analogue, ISDN/QSIG, UCaaS (Microsoft Teams, Innovaphone, Zoom, 8×8, Ring Central, dstny) and many more.
