Vacant Position as Security Technician

We are looking for a field service technician for a technically exciting job with commissioning, configuration and service of systems at the customer’s site. The work is independent with a lot of customer contact and great personal responsibility regarding planning and execution.

The role requires high technical and solution understanding and it is therefore important that you are confident in, and can familiarize yourself with, the customers’ requirements and needs and can meet these with our products and in contact with those you work with at every opportunity.

Based at our head office in Gothenburg, you will work in collaboration with colleagues in the technology department, but also and often together with your colleagues in the sales and marketing department. By being consultative and pedagogical, you will from time-to-time act as a “Presales engineer” and hold internal and external trainings. National travel is a natural part of the service.

You will receive an introduction to the work and training in COBS products and solutions.

Qualifications

• Very good technical knowledge/understanding in IT integrations, radio and telecommunication systems
• Great level of experience in technical problem- and troubleshooting
• High IT maturity
• Proactive and structured with experience in maintaining several projects
• B driving licence

Furthermore, we see the following as meritorious, but not a requirement:

• Experience
• Previous experience as a traveling service technician
• Experience in project management

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has some form of technical education, advantageous if it is in telecommunications technology, and who likes contact with people. We place as much emphasis on your practical knowledge, social skills and attitude, as flexibility, accuracy and interest in technology.

You should also have the ability to quickly absorb technical information and use it in practice.

If you are also experienced in IP telephony, radio and system integrations, it is an advantage.
