This directional antenna is used basically for two purposes.
- In the case you want to place an IP-base station out of coverage from another base station and would like to pick up sync signal over a longer distance, up to 300m in "free air".
- To create coverage in a given direction, like in a corridor or between two buildings.
Used together with basestations or repeaters with external antenna connector. Together with repeater is it only sync signal and not coverage.
