The housing in red signal color is made of impact and shock resistant plastic, and is even resistant to acids, alkali and lubricants. Even the armored spiral handset cable has been designed especially for use in extreme locations. The protection category has been certified on IP65 and working temperatures for the phone can vary between -40°C to +60°C. The extra-loud ring tone of this shockproof and weatherproof IP phone also assists employees in environments such as machine rooms, wind turbines or tunnel constructions.
The IP telephone IP160 is easy to operate thanks to the large OLED display and illuminated red keys, enabling easy operation even in poor lighting conditions. The device further supports connection of an analog headset via the terminal strip in the terminal compartment.
