Positioning (location) transmitter for precise indoor positioning. A-POS location beacon is used in combination with DECT terminals with built in positioning feature or portable alarm transmitters to obtain accurate position information in an indoor environment. Can also be used as a wanderer alert for lone worker protection or dementia alarms.
A-POS sends out a very short distant (1-4 meters) radio frequency identification signal, the signals received by the built-in receivers in DECT handsets or in the Portable alarm units. When units receive this identification signal they automatically forwards the information to COBS Message Server CMS for further action in the form of an alarm or message.
A-POS has connection for a single antenna either Ferrite (A-FA) or Loop, that can be configured with unique ID.
A-POS can also serve as a “floor indicator” and determine at what level a person, terminal, phone or alarm button is located and in this way keep track of units.
Wireless surveillance – A-POS is equipped with a wireless radio interface that communicates status with any of the radio receivers in our portfolio.
